Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center

We were lucky to find a place to stay and to have dinner on Thanksgiving in Augusta. The location close to the river walk was lovely. Overall our stay was ok, but a few things could be improved.

Location was super-convenient as we didn't have to drive back and forth to the convention. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, answering all of our questions. The room was very nice and the beds very comfortable. The hottub was a welcome addition, especially after walking around all day. I loved the fact that we didn't have to drive to and from eating locations, as not only were ones available on-site, but also within convenient walking distance. There was virtually no noise at night, which was welcome.

The hotel was wonderful. It was very comfortable and clean and the restaurant was great.

Rooms were really nice, with nice touch appointments. I especially liked the couch & work table & the lighting strip at the headboard. Nice large shower & separate make-up mirror were nice in the bath

Customer service front desk service was very professional I ate at the restaurant and the food was very delicious the waitress was it very nice ,my room was clean and fresh very sanitized view from my window was beautiful love the lake nice quiet environment.
